Hong Kong-headquartered memory and storage solutions provider Essencore has announced a strategic partnership with Haryana-based Syrma SGS Technology Ltd to scale up local manufacturing capabilities in India.

Announced at the company’s inaugural Essencore India Conclave, the collaboration marks a major step in aligning with the government’s “Make in India” initiative while expanding the company’s regional footprint.

Key Highlights of the Partnership & Expansion

    • Manufacturing Synergy: Essencore will leverage Syrma SGS’s advanced electronics manufacturing facilities in India to produce memory modules and storage components locally, reducing supply-chain bottlenecks and catering more efficiently to domestic demand.

    • Introduction of KLEVV: Alongside the manufacturing announcement, Essencore officially introduced its flagship consumer brand, KLEVV, to the Indian market. The brand focuses on high-performance memory and storage solutions tailored for gamers, eSports enthusiasts, content creators, and high-performance computing (HPC) users.

    • Leadership Commentary:

      • CK Kim, Vice President at Essencore, emphasized that India is a core strategic market, noting that the partnership demonstrates long-term commitment through local manufacturing and brand integration.

      • Sandeep Tandon, Executive Chairman of Syrma SGS Technology, highlighted that the collaboration taps into India’s fast-growing electronics ecosystem by combining Essencore’s technological expertise with Syrma’s robust manufacturing footprint.

      • Nitin Malhotra, India Country Manager for Essencore, outlined the brand’s local go-to-market strategy, which focuses on delivering products and solutions designed specifically for regional requirements.

    Strategic Significance
