    India’s white-collar labor market is set for steady acceleration in the second half of 2026. According to Naukri’s Hiring Outlook survey, 79% of senior HR leaders anticipate new job creation, while 97% expect total hiring activity (including replacement hiring) to continue over the next six months.

    • Target Experience Levels:

      • 0–3 Years (Entry-Level): Strongest overall demand at 62%, led primarily by BFSI, Healthcare, and IT.

      • 4–7 Years (Mid-Level): High demand at 57%, led by Real Estate and FMCG.

    AI Impact & Market Challenges

    • Minimal Near-Term AI Disruption: 86% of HR leaders do not expect significant job losses due to AI over the next six months. Over 20% in both IT and BFSI anticipate AI generating new roles across IT, marketing, and analytics.

    • Primary Hiring Bottlenecks:

      • Skill Mismatch: Cited as the #1 hiring challenge overall (31% of HR leaders).

      • Talent Shortage: Highlighted as the single biggest concern in the Healthcare sector (39%).
