Adani Total Gas (ATGL) has officially set the stage for its Q4 FY26 results and a potential dividend announcement. Here is a breakdown of the upcoming board meeting and the historical context of their dividend payouts.

    1. The Critical Date: April 27, 2026

The Board of Directors is scheduled to meet on Monday, April 27, 2026, to discuss two primary agendas:

    • Financial Audit: Approval of the audited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and full financial year ending March 31, 2026.

    • Dividend Recommendation: The board will consider whether to reward shareholders with a dividend for the fiscal year.

Investor Call: Following the results, an analyst and investor call is scheduled for April 28, 2026, to discuss the performance outlook.

    2. Will the ₹0.25 Trend Continue?

Historically, Adani Total Gas has been consistent but conservative with its dividends. Over the past several years, the company has maintained a steady payout of ₹0.25 per share.

    • The Trend: In 2023, 2024, and 2025, the company declared a final dividend of ₹0.25.

    • The Outlook: While investors are hopeful for an increase—especially following the 10% YoY rise in net profit (₹157 crore) and a 15% surge in EBITDA reported in the December quarter—the company has not yet confirmed if they will break from the ₹0.25 pattern.

    3. Trading Window Closure

In compliance with SEBI regulations, the trading window for insiders (employees, directors, and designated persons) closed on April 1, 2026. It is slated to reopen on April 30, 2026, which is 48 hours after the financial results are made public.

    4. Stock Performance Snapshot

The upcoming meeting comes at a time when the stock is attempting to recover from a volatile year.

    Period Performance
    Last 5 Days -4%
    Last 1 Month +8%
    Year-to-Date (2026) -12%
    Last 12 Months -9%
    52-Week High/Low ₹798 / ₹462

    Summary for Shareholders

While the ₹0.25 dividend has been the “standard” for ATGL, the improved operational volumes and profit growth in FY26 provide a fundamental basis for a potential surprise. However, until the evening of April 27, any change in the dividend trend remains speculative.

If the dividend is approved, the Record Date (which determines eligibility) will be announced shortly after the board meeting.
