Delta Insurance Debuts Cyber and Management Liability Products on Ebix Sunrise Exchange

Commercial specialist insurer Delta Insurance has officially launched its Cyber and Management Liability products on the Ebix Sunrise Exchange platform. The deployment was fast-tracked via a core collaboration with full-lifecycle insurance administration provider Entsia.

While complex commercial and specialty product builds typically demand six to nine months (or longer) to hit the market, the tight partnership between Delta, Ebix, and Entsia allowed the teams to significantly slash the rollout and accreditation timeline without compromising product quality.

The Tech Blueprint: How Entsia Accelerated the Launch

The heavy lifting behind the rapid deployment came down to Entsia’s pre-existing, deeply embedded architecture with the Ebix ecosystem.

    • The Two-Week Fast Track: Entsia utilized its specialized, pre-approved Ebix accreditation pathway to condense the standard compliance and testing phase down to just two weeks, shaving up to a month off the traditional schedule.

    • Established Footprint: This launch builds on Entsia’s deep platform integration experience, adding to its track record of managing 24 live products across 10 separate insurance clients on the Ebix Sunrise network.

    • Expanding an Existing Alliance: This initiative marks a deepening of Delta and Entsia’s partnership, which began in 2023 when Delta utilized the Entsia platform to roll out its BizPack product line to commercial clients in New Zealand.

What is Entsia? It is an end-to-end cloud insurance administration infrastructure that handles everything from basic, single-risk retail coverage to highly intricate commercial packages. The platform unites underwriting, distribution networks, credit control, and claims management inside a singular, scalable dashboard.

    Executive Insights

Leadership from both companies noted that the speedy launch directly answers an escalating need among broker networks for agile, specialized commercial lines:

    • Alistair McElligott (CEO & Founder, Entsia):

“This is a strong example of what can be achieved when an insurer, technology partner and distribution partner work together with a clear commercial objective… we’ve helped Delta move faster than anyone else, to capture a market opportunity.”

    • Hamish MacLean (Managing Director, Delta Insurance Australia):

“This partnership has enabled us to respond quickly to broker demand… The result is a familiar, easy-to-use process that gives brokers access to Delta’s Cyber and Management Liability products so they can deliver the best possible outcome for their clients.”

Looking forward, Delta and Entsia are actively evaluating how to leverage Entsia’s pre-built integration modules to quickly scale and seed additional commercial products across regional broker channels.
