    1. Investment Scale & Strategic Vision

    • Capital Deployment: Emerging-markets energy operator Incubit Group plans to invest ₹5,000 crore in India over the next 4 to 5 years.

    • Investor Profile: Backed by institutional investors from Singapore and the Middle East, Incubit operates as a long-term strategic operational investor rather than a private equity fund with a fixed exit timeline.

    • Core Strategy: Targeting high-growth, mid- and small-cap energy infrastructure and specialty chemical segments in India to address emerging capacity constraints.

    2. Target Infrastructure Segments

    A. Liquid Storage & Tankage Terminals

    • Demand Driver: Growing needs driven by higher ethanol blending targets, biodiesel adoption, and rising LPG import volumes.

    • Existing Footprint: Incubit already holds a majority stake in the Pipavav liquid storage terminal in Gujarat, which will serve as a foundation for further expansion in bulk liquid handling.

    B. Circular Economy & Bio-Fuels

    • Sustainable Energy: Expanding into compressed biogas (CBG), biofuels, and used-oil re-refining (“circular molecules”).

    C. Specialty Lubricants

    • Existing Stake: Holds a ~14% stake in listed lubricants maker GP Petroleums Ltd.

    • Focus Areas: Enhancing procurement, technical standards, and OEM-approved specialty lubricant formulations.

    3. Leadership & Operating Model

    • Strategic Governance Model: Incubit acts as a strategic shareholder backing professional management teams rather than enforcing direct day-to-day operational control.

    • Management Support: A key example of this model was assisting GP Petroleums in bringing aboard Dilip Vaswani (former Chairman & Managing Director of Total South Asia) to strengthen its senior leadership.
