Apple’s annual Back to School campaign is officially live in India. Running from July 16 through August 27, 2026, the promotion allows eligible college students, parents, and educators to stack complementary accessories on top of Apple’s standard education discounts.

If you are planning a hardware upgrade for the upcoming academic year, here is how the promotional bundles and pricing stack up.

    1. The MacBook Bundle: Free AirPods or AirTags

Purchasing an eligible MacBook Air or MacBook Pro qualifies buyers for a free accessory bundle worth up to ₹12,900. Buyers can choose a base accessory for free or pay a premium to upgrade their audio gear.

    • Base Options (Free): AirPods 4 OR an AirTag 4-Pack.

    • Upgrade Options:

      • AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC): +₹5,000

      • AirPods Pro 3: +₹13,000

    MacBook Education Pricing:

    • 13-inch MacBook Air (M5): Reduced to ₹1,37,900 (Retail price: ₹1,49,900).

    • 14-inch MacBook Pro (M5): Reduced to ₹2,27,900 (Retail price: ₹2,39,900).

    2. The iPad Bundle: Free Apple Pencil Pro

Students opting for a tablet can secure a free Apple Pencil Pro (normally retailing at ₹11,900) with an eligible iPad Air or iPad Pro purchase. Alternatively, tablet buyers can pivot to audio or tracking accessories by paying a small offset fee.

    • Base Option (Free): Apple Pencil Pro.

    • Alternative Options:

      • AirTag 4-Pack: +₹2,000

      • AirPods 4 (Standard): +₹2,000

      • AirPods 4 with ANC: +₹7,000

      • AirPods Pro 3: +₹15,000

    iPad Education Pricing:

    • 11-inch iPad Air (M4, 128GB): Reduced to ₹83,900 (Retail price: ₹89,900).

    • 11-inch iPad Pro (M5, 256GB): Reduced to ₹1,27,900 (Retail price: ₹1,39,900).

    Important Caveats & Exclusions

⚠️ What is NOT included: The Back to School accessory promotion excludes the MacBook Neo, iPad mini, standard entry-level iPad, and desktop Mac hardware (iMac, Mac mini, Mac Studio). While these products still qualify for standard, year-round education pricing, they do not trigger the free accessory bundles.

    • Verification: Online buyers must verify their student or educator status via the UNiDAYS portal before checking out. Physical Apple Retail Store visitors (such as Apple Saket or Apple BKC) can verify in person using a valid institutional ID or college acceptance letter.

    • Bonus Perk: Free custom engraving remains available for any promotional AirPods, Apple Pencils, or AirTags ordered through the online Apple Education Store storefront.
