Stock Reports Plus, powered by Refinitiv, undertakes detailed company analysis for 4,000+ listed stocks. In addition to detailed company analyses, the report also collates analysts’ forecasts and trend analysis for each component. An average score in Stock Reports Plus is calculated by undertaking quantitative analysis of five key investment tools – earnings, fundamentals, relative valuation, risk, and price momentum.

To help you make the best investment decisions, we have zoomed in on all companies that have been awarded the highest score by Stock Reports Plus – and clubbed them together with “Strong Buy/Buy” analysts’ recommendations as per the Institutional Brokers’ Estimate System (IBES). Our weekly top picks provide you actionable insights for companies with strong fundamentals.

How the 10/10 Score Is Calculated

Stock Reports Plus evaluates each stock across five distinct pillars using standardized quantitative metrics:

    1. Earnings: Measures track record of meeting quarterly earnings estimates, earnings surprise momentum, and upward revisions in consensus broker estimates.

    2. Fundamentals: Assesses balance sheet strength, return ratios (ROE/ROCE), debt-to-equity levels, cash flow generation, and profit margins.

    3. Relative Valuation: Evaluates valuation multiples (P/E, P/B, EV/EBITDA) compared to historical averages, industry peers, and sector benchmarks.

    4. Risk: Analyzes stock price volatility, beta relative to broader benchmarks (Nifty 50/Sensex), financial leverage risk, and liquidity.

    5. Price Momentum: Tracks short- and medium-term price trends, relative strength against broader markets, and technical moving average setups.

A company earning a perfect score of 10 out of 10 indicates top-tier performance across most, if not all, of these parameters.

Key Characteristics of This Week’s 10/10 Picks

Companies featuring in the highest score bucket typically exhibit:

    • Strong Institutional Backing: High “Buy” or “Strong Buy” recommendations from sell-side analysts polled under the IBES framework.

    • Consistent Earnings Growth: Stable or expanding EBITDA margins with low earnings volatility.

    • Resilient Balance Sheets: Manageable debt levels and consistent return on equity (ROE > 15%).

    • Healthy Risk-Reward Profile: Attractive upside potential based on consensus analyst target prices combined with low downside risk.

    Investor Guidelines

While a 10/10 Stock Reports Plus score combined with an IBES “Buy” rating highlights exceptionally strong fundamentals, investors should consider the following before making deployment decisions:

    • Diversification: Avoid over-concentrating capital in a single sector, even if multiple stocks within that sector carry a top score.

    • Investment Horizon: Stock Reports Plus scores reflect medium- to long-term operational health, making these picks best suited for a 1- to 3-year holding period.

    • Risk Tolerance: Pair quantitative scores with personal risk capacity and broader market conditions.
